FERRY BOAT TO HVAR

Hvar island is accessed through ferry transportation from the mailand ports in SPLIT and DRVENIK. JADROLINIJA is the major transportation company carrying people as well as the cargo material, car and bus vehicles. This company serves regularly from Split-Starigrad and Drvenik-Sucuraj. A trip from Split to town of Hvar, continuing to Korcula island is also available. This connection is done by "trajekt", suitable to transport people only, not cars. A detailed schedule can be found at WWW.JADROLINIJA.HR The ferry ride to Hvar island from Drvenik to port town of Sucuraj, and then a car ride to town of Jelsa is three times cheaper, however, it takes extra 140 km to get there .

"Katamaran" /a boat for people only/ takes you from Split, through Bol /Brac island/ to Jelsa /Hvar island/. The boat only departs from Split at 4 PM and from Jelsa at 6 AM.
